I can’t say much about the origins of this photo or who exactly the man is. the documentary it was taken from implied that this figure was a drug dealer or a gang member (Harlem, early-mid 70s). I’m not so sure either are true, but there are some similarities to gang clothing from the 70s (black beret, jacket with studs). but all you really got to know is that this is real street style.
